The plan didn’t help that many homeowners, and too few lenders opted in to participate in the plan. But, lenders did decide to ease up on approving loan modifications. And now, while some lenders are still fighting modifications, many have eased up, and when using a non profit organization such as mine, a win modification can be secured without the use, and expense of, a forensic loan audit.
