Wow!! its a good one. The house was a major mess and it was absolutely in complete rehab but as I reviewed the house before and after changes, I think it was stunning, perfect for starter family.

Don’t get too many credit cards. Too much debt and too many credit cards decreases your FICO score.

Very good how–to video on rehab projects. Most of the time, these properties just need a little cosmetic fix-up.
Important thing is leave electrical and plumbing to the Pros.

Don’t get in over your head with credit cards, or you’ll be paying for it for a long, long time, and will never be able to do anything.

Good job except for the kitchen…It looks bad to me. The appliances should have been flush mounted, they all stick out, and the vent should have been sheetrocked all the way across it looks goofy over the sink. If you were to sheetrock all the way over and put a nice fixture in there it wouldn’t look half as goofy. Other than that I think it’s an awesome job

Did he say “we spared no expense”?
left the old nasty windows… put in cheapo light fixtures… bought the cheapest cabinets… didn’t clean the tile grout. Come on guys….

sure does echo in there with all that tile.

I think that they did a few unnecessary, very costly changes in some places…but then again, not enough in some other areas. That kitchen is big, and instead of leaving it the way it was and just updating the cabinets and appliances, I think it would have been nice to see a different layout. Something with more flow. And yes, I agree, a nice neutral tone on the walls…something in the earth-tone family would have been a nice contrast with white trim, make the walls pop.

I notice there is no shower curtain rod… am I nuts or do other people see it as well
December 23rd, 2010 at 4:55 am
i would have went with a neutral tone on the walls and maybe a crown moulding… so it felt more like home but thats just my opinion. Great work though

Everything looks nice and well done. It just looks cheap. I understand it is a flip, but it still looks cheap.
